Win2000 install problem...please help!!!

I am trying to install win2000 pro upgrade on my friend's computer. I tried a clean install after a format and an upgrade after installing win98se. The problem is when the computer reboots and tries to load the Windows 2000 Setup, it freezes when it says loading Windows 2000 Setup. It loads everything of the 4 floppies (even tried booting off the cd), but freezes when it reaches that point.

My friend's comp is an Aptiva E series 520

128MB RAM
8 gig HD

Same thing happened to me. Using a different installation CD worked.

I tried the cd I have, and one from my friend but it still didn't work

Have you tried pulling out all cards except video? Then install 2000.
