hi folks! I jus installed win2k but dont like it to be the default OS over win98. Is there some way to set win98 as the default OS and have that option highlighted instead of win2k?

You can also edit the lines of text in the boot.ini file directly... That's what I did when I upgraded from ATA33 to ATA66 (needed "scsi" to become "multi&quot😉 controller card in NT4 and WIN2K (with a triple boot I had running... 98SE too). Just edit the line after "Default=" in it to whatever the OS line is under your "[Operating System]" within the boot.ini.... It should be apparent as to what it says after you inspect this file... although you may need to uncheck this file's properties from "Read Only."
