Win2000 Dail Up Connector Not saving correct password

I am unable to get the dial up connectors in win 2000 to save the correct password. If I select "save password" and then shut down, the next time I open the dial up connector a different password is there. In a perhaps related problem, every time I boot up the OS there is a failed attempt to automatically log me on as an administrator. I need to cancel and re enter the correct Admin password. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
 
At one time did you set up your computer to automatically log on? Check out this article about how that is set up. You can delete that key to remove the auto logon.
 
I DID in fact problably enable some sort of Auto Log on, though not with TweakUI. I'll try to delete the registry key to see if it helps. Thanks for the advice!!!
