Win2000 causing Access97 corruption...

I'm at work, and our network consists of mainly win95 machines, and one laptop running win2000. In the past month the laptop seems to be the root of several database corruptions. In fact it corrupted our DB twice on Friday.
We had a sales person working on a order, and he went awat from the machine for a few minutes, and when he came back and tried to continue, he started getting errors, and soon everyone esle was too. We tested, and tried to repair it on our server, but had to go to an hour old back-up.
Anyone had similar problems, or know what might be causeing our problems?

is someone in the office is using office 2000 (your laptop maybe has office 2000?)or something newer, the ODBC drivers may be conflicting. We had this porblem in our office as well. The software we were running was only tested with access 97 (i forget the version number of the odbc drivers) and the users with office 2000 kept corrupting the database until we fixed the office 2K odbc drivers.
