On Win7, I have a folder that I've dumped a load of images into, to use as desktop wallpapers. I've then gone into the desktop wallpaper UI and picked which ones I want to use out of that folder, set it to a 1 day timer and to pick them at random.

I'm not sure all of this can be done on Win10? I haven't scrutinised Win10 yet on this point, but I think that you can do some of these things but not all (such as specifying which images from a given folder that one wishes to use)?

Toss your pics in C:\Windows\Web and there is an option in personalize settings for wallpaper to rotate desktops.

Yep, process is pretty much the same in 7/10.

And Win 10 needs to be activated.

Personalization is the main feature that is Disabled in a None Activated Win 10.
