Apparently my main user account profile has become corrupted and I can't sign in. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? The work arounds I have seen online involve logging in to another account and copying over a good user default file, either from the same or another PC. I don't have this option, only one account on the comp and no other Win10 PCs.

I really only have access to the command prompt via safe mode (and I can obviously get to the registry editor from there) so that's pretty much where I'm stuck. Any way to fix this? I'm kinda losing my mind now.

You can navigate though NotePad and move "My Documents" folder to the respective location in order to get your DeskTop working. Other wise upon boot create an new user account and pinch your old UAC Account and reboot then delete the pseudo account.

All I really have is the command prompt, can't get to the desktop in safe mode.

Well, couldn't find any solutions that worked so I formatted to do a clean install. Now windows won't install on it. Starting to think the SSD is going bad.
