just did a fresh intall of windows xp pro. 3 files could not load or be found so I continued without them. When I got to the windows welcome setup user screen(before log-on screen), I entered my name as the first user. no password. I don't believe it even gave an option. when it got to the log-on screen, it is showing my name and a fill-in box for a password. no matter what is typed in there, error message stating cannot log etc etc , contact admin for password? The 3 files windows could not load were
couri.ttf, cpanel_w.chg , courtney.as_. i don't know if the missing files have anything to do with having a password pop-up box or not I have done several xp install with this disc. What gives now Thanks

Why would you even continue after the files wouldn't copy? I would investigate the cause of THAT problem first. If you don't you could be looking at more problems down the road with an unstable system. Did you create the Admin account? WinXP ALWAYS askes for an admin setup when loading, so you should be able to access via that account. If not, it didn't install correctly.
