I get internet through my university. It requires the terminal dial-up screen to type in password and username. Is there a way to save that info so I don't have to type it in everytime I login?
 
If you edit the properties of your dial up connection, you normally have checked the box that says to open a Terminal Window.

Next to that checkbox, there's an option to run a script. There are even some samples included (on my XP Pro they are), and you can
use such a script to enter your username/password automatically
