Win XP Support for 3dfx Voodoo3 Cards

I read something about Windows XP not having support for 3dfx Voodoo cards. Hard to believe XP wouldn't have drivers for these video cards given the large numbers that were sold. Voodoo3 cards are listed in the Hardware Compatibility List as being Compatible with XP. Does anybody know exactly what driver support XP has for Voodoo3 cards? Thanks.

I've been using a Voodoo3 2000 PCI card with XP RC2 (2526). I haven't had any problems, though I'm sure the default driver installed isn't optimized.

By default XP has full 2D support for the Voodoo 3, limited DirectX support and no OpenGL support at all. Ironically earlier beta's of WinXP had full driver support that worked quite well.
