Win XP Stop error

[Koopasm]

Just fdisked a maxtor 30 GB, installed win xp pro with sp1. Went through all the setups, and I flashed the BIOS with a current file.

It is a Athlon XP1700
MSI K7T Turbo mobo
3 128 RAM
ATI 7500 VE vid card

Loaded it all up, and it gets to the xp boot screen, then it either crashes or gives me a blue screen with these two errors.
"c000021a" "0x00000080".

It loads fine in safe mode.

Any idea's.
I don't understand because it's a fresh install of XP

did you try disabling any onboard video/sound? It sounds like you are getting a hardware conflict, since it's a fresh install of winXP. Also, try switching around your RAM, could be a problem there
