Win xp, sound card, VERY SLOW BOOTUP!!

Hey everyone,
I am one of the few people that got the K7AMA, and when I bought and installed another sound card, Windows XP took like 30 seconds to get passed the login screen, this used to take like .5 secs. When I put in the old sound card, same thing. Any help? Also, is it possible to overclock this board? Here are my specs, ECS K7AMA, Win XP, 256 mb of Micron DDR ECC Ram, 40 GB Western digital hdd and 20 gb maxtor hdd, generic 50x cd rom and memorex 4/2/24 burner, 2 exhaust fans, 1 intake fan, volcano 5 on cpu, cardexpert/gainward geforce 2 mx 32 mb, maxisound fortissimo sound card, onboard lan.
