Never happened to me before and not on other OSs. My computer reboots itself and for no reason. Well, there's gotta be an explaination for it. Hope someone can help me out. Appreciate it! :)

You might be getting a BSOD and have to OS set to auto-reboot.

Right Click on 'My computer'
Select Manage
Go to 'Advanced' Tab
on 'Startup and Recovery' click settings
uncheck "Restart Automatically"

You migh also check your event log for any errors. Usually if you reboot because of bsod upon reboot windows tries to send error report unless you have shut that feature off.

where can you find event logs, and what are the usual suspects that I should be aware of?

Start>control panel>administrative tools>event viewer. check both your system and application for any errors You can double click for more info. Note the time on your computer when it crashes if you can and check the log for errors.

Don't expect a whole lot of info here but will cover the basics and definately point you in the right direction.
