Win Xp Pro User/pass

I just installed win xp. I haven't really played with it much. But ever since I changed some network settings, it asks for a username/password everytime I reboot. Before it just wanted me to click an icon to load a specified user for settings etc... I was wondering how I go about getting it back to that rather than the user/pass. Because I can't figure out how to change the password. Therefor that method is a complete waste of time.

Thanks. Dave-

that really doesn't answer my question at all. It's rather hard to explain. Like when you first install win XP and boot up. With multiple users on it it asks which user you would like to use. After messing around with some settings I lost the ability to do that. Now it simply asks for a user/pass and That's it! I have 3 different users but it doesn't care, it forces me to use the main one. Meaning it just boots right into the password screen.

Also when I shut down the computer, it sits at a screen saying "it is now safe to shut off your computer." where before it would just shut itself down when I hit "turn off computer."

I have auto boot up working and everything, but I want to get it back to where you can select multiple users at boot..

I don't know how else to explain it...

Thanks a bunch for any input guys...

Are you referring to the Welcome Screen when you login? You can reenable that in Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change the Way Users Log on or off -> Check Use the Welcome Screen.
