So my colleague at work says he is trying to use the network setup wizard to network his Win XP Pro laptop and WinME desktop via a crossover cable. So he creates a floppy disk he says using the network setup wizard to be run on the WinME machine. He claims that once he puts the floppy in the WinME machine it asks him how he wants to connect and that the only option is Parallel Port and that there is no option for ethernet.
I have no experience with this myself and am not sure about the part where it only gives him a choice to connect via parallel port.
