WIN XP PRO OR HOME EDITION? WHATS THE DIFFERENCE TOO.

Trying to decide which version to get. pro or home edition>

IMHO, go for Home Edition if you don't need multi processor support.

Home Edition is really only for people who shouldn't have control over their OS to the extent Pro allows, for MOST of the people in this forum I would suggest Pro.
Though seeing as how I don't have to PAY for my copy, I guess I can't really bitch

I don't think Win98 use is going to go down anytime in the near future...in terms of home versus pro, home = windows me/98 like, pro = windows 2000 like...I think the home version is probably going to be more full of wizz bang consumer sub components too---photo uploaders, multimedia editors, etc...IMHO, wait about a year or so until they work most of the bugs or security holes out.
