WIN XP pass word and spy ware?

I am thinking about getting WIN XP Pro but I was talking to some guys and they said that WIN XP had spy ware on it.
They also said that I had to regester everything I but on the system if WIN XP is the OS.
I need some help. If what they said was true ill stick with win98 and Linux. If not tell me where I can get a copy of XP PRO.
 
You can get XP at just about any computer store in your area, you can also look on sites like Amazon.com or Outpost.com. If you mean you want a warezed copy of XP, please send me you address and I will bring myself and a baseball bat to your house and we can discuss it there.
 
They're full of it, until someone can show you absolute proof, there is no conspiracy. XP has been rock solid and one fine OS, not taking anything away from Win 2K, which is also very good. Just a lot of, as they say, F.U.D.
 
What I ment:
Does WIN XP have a master pass word and spy ware set up on it so someone elce can just type in the pass word and get into my own system?
By the way if you show up at my house with a baseball bat. Im betting that you would find me with my SKS. HEHE
