win XP only boots from CD?

My fresh Win XP pro install will only boot from CD. Its loaded on a RAID 0 array and runs fine as long an the Win XP disk is in the CD drive at boot up. How do I get the OS to load properly? 1st/2nd/3rd boot device is floppy/hdd/hdd and hard disk boot priority is set to bootable add in device first and the IDE hard drive that I will use for storage second.

Thanks,

Joe M.

Do you have an option in your bios to select from scsi at all ?
Are you running a raid pci card or built in raid on the mobo ?

The RAID is integrated on motherboard (Abit IC7 max3 with ICH5R southbridge) and I'm not sure about SCSI drive but I don't think so. I'll check.
