Win XP- No Desktop

Having a problem here at work with a computer with Windows XP that has the Novell client logging into a Novell 5.1 server that has suddenly lost the desktop when logged into the network. When booting up with "workstation only" the desktop appears and verything is fine, but when the Novell client logs the workstation onto the network the screensaver appears but no desktop. Anyone have experience with this type of problem?

Are you manually mapping (not with logon script) any Network Drives?

If so, you may want to disable them and try logging on.
