How can i have the easiest and most secure integration of a winxp pro workstation (document creation and management) into a win 2003 server network?
Its a AD domain with one main server (also a File Server) and about 7-8 clients.
The customer wants to create pdfs with his AIO colorlaserjet, but the scanning software does not support win2k3, hence a need for a seperate workstation running WinXP pro.
The created documents also need to be backed up on the main server and "be online" on the workstation. Then theres the tedious process of user rights and file ownership, which won't be an issue since theres only 6-7 employees.
