Win XP...how to password protect a folder?

I just want to password protect my MyDocs folder. Is there a way I can do it
in Win XP?

You can't password protect it...however, depeding uppon which version of XP you have, you can deny access to certain users, depeding upon who they are loged on as.

Of course, there's always 3rd party utilities you could use.

if your using NTFS you'll have a lot more options also for restricting access, i just made my new hard drive i got into a few ntfs partitions and a few fat32 partitions, gonna use the ntfs partitions for my private stuff (pics of me naked.. heh j/k)

someone here hooked me up with a proggy called Cryptext- file encrypts .exe's as well as folders. Works well (XP).

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to password protect my MyDocs folder when I'm actually logged in under my username. The reason is that sometimes in my house my kids use my profile and I don't want 'em diggin' into my business files.
I found a prog. called Folderguard that will do just what I want.
