Win XP home w/ Domains

I am told that windows xp will not logon to windows domains, is there any truth to this?

I also have read this from various places. The big difference between WinXP Home and Pro is that Pro can join domains (just like all other Windows OSes except WinXP Home apparently) and connect to more network shares, support more than 1 cpu, etc. than WinXP Home.
