Brand new system...running well...son talked me into buying Warcraft 3...installed...will not run...yes, game is "patched", did everything Blizzard game site said to do...NADA...then ran at start-run-"DXDiag"...when testing Direct 3D component...error message "failure at step 5( get device caps): HRESULT: 0x8876086a(3D not available)"
So, I assume I need to re-install Direct X 8.1... but can't get it from MS site, keep saying it's on my Win XP Pro cd..I can't find it on the CD...hope I don't have to re-install XP...
What to do...
