This ones's got me stumped. Installed Win XP Pro the other day and it recognized my Diamond Supramax 56i modem without any problems. But now my connection speeds have dropped to between 19 and 38K where I was connecting always between 42 and 46K. XP is using the Microsoft driver, which Diamond recommends and the modem won't work with the Diamond drivers that it worked great with under Win 98. I get a message saying that the old driver is not digitally signed and have to force XP to install it but then the modem will not work. Any ideas?:disgust:

Have you checked any of the settings such as port speeds ,hardware control, etc ?

I'm currently using a USB (external) Diamond SupraExpress modem which works fine under XP using Microshafts own drivers ( these cost about $25 fyi )
