win xp doesn't detect my raid in a7n8x-e mobo

I have two 250gb hd's in the Nvidia SATA1 and SATA2 ports and configured raid0. Disabled the Silicon SATA raid ports and winxp setup doesn't detect any hard drives... any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
