I have an AMD 1.4 ghz system with and a Geforce 2 GTS 32meg video card. Running Win XP I am allowed only two color depths 16 and 32 mil. The display seems to have a foggy appearence, not as crisp and sharp as it was under win 98. Is this a setting I have not discovered or video card problem? ( I have the latest nvidia XP drivers)

I have almost the same setup. Only difference is that I have the GeForce 2 Ultra...

Some people (like me) are nosey with Windows XP and play with all the settings. Perhaps you went into the display properties (like me) and changed the appearance, and effects to "smooth edges of screen fonts" with ClearType. I like cleartype much more than the standard font style, but many who use my computer complain that the letters are to soft. I noticed that on smaller monitors it actually makes the screen look worse. Perhaps you messed with these settings? Just an idea is all...
