win xp crashes on standby

i reformatted last week and now wen i tired to put my computer into standby i get a BSOD right at the end. it flashes for less than a second then computer restarts and i get told bout a serious error

any ideas as to what is causing this?

Quite possibly a hardware issue. Check to see that your hardware is working. E.g. take out all PCI cards, and then try, and if works, install them one-by-one until it stops working. Then you know whats causing the problems. Ive come across the same problem many times during my job, and usually found that it is the modem causing the problem, but thats just from my experience
