win xp crashed and had to go back to win 98 computer wont reconize my digital camera help :)

I was using win XP for my digital camera just fine and the computer was all messed up would not recognize any thing and would not reboot so I had to go to my old operating system I need help getting it to recognize my digital camera under usb hub and help would be greatly appreciated

Unlike XP, in 98 you have to actually install drivers and software for your digicam. The best solution is to get a media reader/writer and eliminate the connection entirely. It is clumsy, cumbersome, and inefficient.

You have to be crazy to go from win XP to win 98, I could see 2k but not 98!

I know you think I am crazy to go from win -xp to 98 but being that I am disabled and money is a factor and the only person I know that knows anything about computers wont let me copy their me I have no other options as long as I can run the web and flea bay I am happy just need to flea bay and cant do photos
