Win Xp connects to domain but can't browse internet

I have added 3 machines w/win xp to a small network w/a domain controller. There are 3 other computer that were previously there running w2k. The xp machines log into the domain and connect to the file server but they will not connect to the internet. Under ipconfig it shows that they do pull an ip from the router (w/built in dhcp server).
The w2k machines can surf the internet no problem.

What can i do to connect xp machines to internet.
thx.

Is the result of an IPCONFIG /ALL on the new machine the same (with the exception of the IP address) as the same command on the W2K boxes that are working?

I can ping the router but i cannot ping an internt ip.
the mac filter is not on.
the result of the ipconfig/all is the same on the w2k machines, except for the ip address.

thx

Today I had a similar problem.
Once I manually entered the DNS IP on each PC and left the IP to 'obtain automatically' they could connect to the net.
Little different than I was use to, but it worked.

I just entered the dns manually but left the ip to automatically get an ip from the dhcp - still no internet..
any other ideas?

thx
