Win Xp: can't find where to disable programs from starting.

Just installed XP pro and I can't figure out how the hell to stop programs from starting on startup. I went to programs\accessories\system tools\system information and there is not the same tool there as in Win me to do a selective startup. Anyone have an idea of where to look. Help has not been helpful. Thanks

Go to run, then run msconfig. It's under the startup tab.

WinXP comes w/ good old msconfig

and/or you could try http://www.sysinternals.com/files/autoruns.zip
