Let me just say I HATE Palm desktop. They still haven't gotten their install correct. I had this problem numerous times with users. You install as one account (admin) and the other account (normal user account) can't access the software cause it doesn't write the correct registry keys. The easiest way is to put her account in the admin group, install the software, and then remove it.

I am thinking about installing it as an admin and giving full access of the Sony Handheld folder to the group(that includes my local account and my sister's local account) and manually putting it in START-->PROGRAMS. she can password protect her data after that i guess.

Still can't get rid of the message Expreprt.exe not found. I don't know if you get the same message.
This is the first time i have installed something on XP i guess giving access of other softwares (office 2000) to local users would not be too hard.
I am glad you said that it is a problem with Palms installer. I was thinking all this time that i am doing something wrong.
