Microsoft's launch event is happening in fewer than two weeks, win tickets for the party here.
Typically, big events in the gaming industry are polluted with celebrities, press, and other industry bigwigs, leaving the population of gamers stranded on the wrong side of the velvet rope.
Tomorrow, it's time for gamers to get their due. Microsoft and GameSpot are teaming up to give out several pairs of tickets for Xbox 360: Zero Hour, the invite-only launch event for Microsoft's next-generation console. The happening takes place in California's Mojave Desert at sunset Sunday, November 20 until midnight, November 22, the day the Xbox 360 goes on sale in North America.
In addition to several gaming stations that feature the 360 playing launch and upcoming games on high-definition monitors, entertainment will be provided by rockers Louis XIV and faux wrestlers Kaiju Big Battel.
GameSpot readers can win their passes to the event simply by following directions on GameSpot's Xbox 360 Launch Center feature on Thursday, November 10 (that's tomorrow) at 9:00 a.m. PST/12:00 p.m. EST. At 9:00 a.m. PST, a link will redirect contestants to a contest page for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Zero Hour.
A certain number of winners will be selected on a "first come, first served" basis, with the remaining tickets handed out in a random drawing. Registration for the contest will end promptly at 11:59 p.m. PST on November 10.
