Win this baby?

Every time I think Reality TV (and TV in general) has sunk to its lowest, they do themselves one better.

What does it have to do with Eisner? It's not like he personally develops and markets these programs....

And it always makes me laugh when a NYP writer refers to something as "sensational."

I am disgusted.

Edit: $hit like this doesn't make me proud be an American.

Ditto.

Why is she holding the baby's crotch in the picture?
You'd understand if you had one. It's just an easy way to hold them so they can see everything.

At any rate: I just heard about this. TV has officially gone too far. If anyone needs me, I'll up in the nearest clocktower. :|

it's not sickening. they just put the wrong spin on it. it should have been in a documentary format instead of a reality-tv show format which is exactly what they're going to do.

Does the child get lifetime therapy with this?
This is outrageous plan and simple. If this flies I will never watch ABC again. I dont care what sporting event they land this is ridiculous...

why would the child need therapy?

They have gotten tons of complaint letters and such about this since they are basically auctioning off the baby to whoever wins the contest. It's sto incredibly wrong. Everyone here should send a letter to ABC and the FCC to complain about it.

I don't think it's going to happen over all the bad press it's getting. Jay Leno even ripped on the idea on his show last night.
