I heard riots in Boston are breaking out.

I have not heard of any. The only two pictures I've seen from the city were a bunch of college kids standing around with beer, and at least two dozen cops standing around with nobody else in sight.

:hmm:
In one of the videos captured earlier it looked like one of the Green Men was helping out a fire.

Dang... Vancouver is normally such a nice place to visit. Here in Seattle we don't do sports riots, just WTO riots :D

Of course this may have to do with the fact that our sports teams suck (except for the WNBA Storm) so no one really cares enough to riot...

Yea everyone they talked to on the street talked about how disappointed they were.

Launching another round of tear gas.

They're said to be looting a dollar store?

I think the big store is something more upscale, not sure what. Bunch of idiots, that reporter is doing a damn good job of keeping himself composed with all that nonsense around him.

Not sure if this is any better coverage, but it's pretty decent. One idiot tried to jump over a burning BMW and fell into the car and jumped right out. Anyway CTV has good coverage.

Odd, I don't know of any dollar stores downtown. I heard a liquor store, a BMO, and the Bay downtown were getting looted.

Closest dollar stores I know of are on Davie and Denman. Not that close.

Disgraceful to see this but I did call it.

Time to start clearing the streets by force.

At this point yes. However they are playing from a book written after the 94 riots. Back then they went in enforce early and made things a lot worse. This time they really tried to play things calmly and early on I think things went better than in 94. Now that they have cleared most of the people out of the city it's time for them to go in hard, I agree.
