Win NT login annoyances

I've got two computers around here that open the c:\Winnt\system32 folder every time someone logs in. How do I get this to stop. I assume this is somewhere in the registry, but I had no luck finding the problem there. Also one of those machines has an error, "Cannot load C:\program", whenever someone logs in.

Just get this little ditty...it's like msconfig.exe for win98, but tailor made for nt/2K, and it's free.
It will tell you all the startup items and allow you to uncheck them:

Startup Control Panel freeware

It will no doubt find the item referenced in the ms page the previous poster posted just seconds before me.

Thanks for the replies. I've tried 6 registry clean programs so far and none helped. But both of your responses led me to a key that all the registry cleaners missed:

RFX_auto_upgrade

Any idea what this would be from? I'll remove it now and see if that works.

Edit: That worked! But now one machine opens the WinNT startup help screen (and it lacks the option to stop automatically loading).
