how do you get to dos to format the drive that windows ME is run from? i cant format c: because it says that drive is in use and then i try to restart in dos mode and that isnt an option. what do i do now?

azztec: Make a Windows boot disk on floppy. Or, make a bootable floppy disk with fdisk and format files copied from your Windows\Command folder. Boot the machine with the floppy and then format it. Make sure you back up any files you need from the old drive before format.
