Win ME: What is the ssdpsrv.exe file in startup in MSCONFIG

Hi,

I was just trying to clean up my startup in MSCONFIG on my Win ME machine. I am trying to eliminate PC health and system restore (and any other horses**t) that may be slowing down my 3d games.

Anybody know what the ssdpsrv.exe file does? Can I not load this file?
