I noticed that my parent's computer (Dell Pentium III 900Mhz) has been running slow. I'm guessing that there is some program in the background taking up a lot of resources, but I don't know which one, because the task manager does not show CPU time. I've tried Niresoft's task manager, but it doesn't show CPU time either. Is there a downloadable task manager that will show that?
Also, the Niresoft manager says that total memory is 130,316, available is around 1000, and used is around 129000. Does that sound right? I know that 128mb is a low number nowadays, but there should be more available memory, shouldn't there? In either case, I'm trying to get them to spend $33 bucks on some Crucial RAM.
Thanks
