Win ME and Win98 Utilities

Can any users of the new OS tell me if there are any problems using Win98 utilities on Win ME? Specifically, software like Norton or SiSoft -- any compatibility issues?

I thought I saw a thread here of 'what does and what doesn't work' but I can't seem to find it.

I am sure SiSoft SANDRA works with winME.

I don't use Norton anymore 🙂

Sandra works fine under WinMe.I don't use Norton either.The only thing I found not to work at all so far, is my favourite game, MDK2.

i use norton 6.0 and sis soft 2k

I'm using both also, no problems with Sandra. I did read a notice somewhere during the beta process that Norton 6.0 may cause problems. However, so far I have not experienced any. As far as any other utilities go, I think I would wait untill some come out written specifically for ME. There is a different Kernel with ME than with previous Win versions. Last stop before Whistler.
