win key killer for diablo 2?

is there a way to stop the windows key from minimizing diablo 2 to the taskbar while i'm playing in game?

i'm tired of accidently minimizing, and coming back into a very dead character.


happened to me like 5 times yesterday 🙁 good thing i wasnt playing hardcore...

actually, i never even use the win key except for keyboard lock...
is there a way to disable it entirely except for that?

there is, or used to be a powertoy called "dos winkey or doswinkey" or something that would do that...

there was a thread on this in General Hardware a week or two ago, search "key" to track it down.
