PowerDVD, simply cause the mouse wheel controls scanning (FF, REW). i am not really happy with either, however.

If I had to choose, I'd pick PowerDVD. I mostly use Media Center Classic for DVD watching though. Works fine for the little bit of watching I do on the PC.

I'd say PowerDVD cos its the best all-rounder in terms of quality, function, etc.

But to be honest, I still think WinDVD has better picture quality than PowerDVD on some graphics cards.

win dvd has better user controls imo. having said that up untill the latest release of win dvd I still would have reccomended power dvd because it was easier to open mpg2 files or ripped movies with, i just got a new version of windvd though and it does just as well, so as far as im concerned its now a toss up, personally im using windvd for now

...ahh the Shields or Yarnell debate! (Which one of those famous pantomimes do you like better? pickup lines)

I use both regularly for watching DVDs and like them both. The last couple of versions of WinDVD cause my monitor to "blink" before engaging. The last couple versions of PowerDVD don't.

What has always puzzled me is their difference in size. The current PowerDVD program is half the size of Intervideo.
