Just did a clean install of Win 98SE w/ all the updates, except IE 6.0, because it browsed like a slug when it was installed. Instead, I installed IE 5.5 and had no problems. Now, I am unable to download IE 5.5 because it is no longer available for download, only IE 6.0 is available. Are there fixes /tweaks to make IE 6.0 work as well as IE 5.5 on Win 98SE?

Thanks for your help!

MS discontinued support for IE5.5 so you can't download it. I have IE 5.5SP2 full install, its still my preferred browser. I could send it to you on CD-R if you want. I even have all the IE5.5 updates and security patches.
