There should be a simple enough answer, but I just can't find it. I want my windows98SE to show the network connection status in taskbar for my ethernet connection. How can I do that? Thanks to anybody that can help.

Windows 98 can only do this with Dial Up Networking connections, it does not have the ability to do it with ethernet connections.

Thanks...that sucks though. Is there anyway I can get a readout of the incoming and outgoing packet? should i download a utility of some kind?
