Win 98SE keeps crashing

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Win98 SE, and it keeps crashing with the same error message everytime: Explorer has caused an invalid page fault in module KRNL386.exe at 0001:0000ac9d.

Anyone know what this means and a way around it??

I'd recommend a fresh install. Backup your documents and important files. Win9x is prone to crashes. Even a day or two after fresh installs 🙂

yeah sounds like a bad installation, maybe a bad startup file, win gives so many varied errors that its not worth trying to find out what they all mean, i recommend just a nice wipe and clean start.
