i just did a fresh install of 98SE, and it doesn't have the simple games that come with it. it is on my laptop, and i am a law student, so i need these games for school!!! anyone know why? is there a place i can download the simple games that come with it, i only need solitaire, minesweeper and hearts. the only ones i find are complex modified versions.

is it possible to slap a windows 2000 disk, and grab it off of there?

i did install XP on it, but it was too buggy, hence reversion back to 98. i also take my tests on this laptop, so i need it to be tip top for that.

You can install these games off your Windows CD, I don't think they are installed by default.

I don't have a Windows 98 installation at the moment, but from memory...

Goto Control Panel->Add Remove Programmes->Windows Setup Tab and put a checkbox next to the games.

When you click ok, it will install the games from the CD and you should be able to get to them by clicking on the Start button and going to Programs->Accessories->Games.

well what do you know. thanks a lot man. damn, how do you guys know so much about these OS? now i can actually do something in class!
