WIN 98 SE or WIN 2K PRO?

HUH? I think not. Win2000 runs games great. In fact counter strike runs much better for me in 2000. As for your other needs win2000 is perfect. Except you'll never be able to use the excuse i don't have my homework because my computer crasded 🙂
 
I would go with windows 2000. I play all my games under windows 2k with no problems. Plus the stability is great. If you are having doubts about what will work and what won't go here: www.ntcompatible.com They have a list of hardware/software that will/won't work with win2k.
 
Win2k works great with most recent games... and almost all new games release now will work with win2k for sure...

However, if you still wanna play some of those classics, stick with win98...

other than that, I see no reason not going with win2k, except if you have hardware that doesn't work in win2k...
