Win 98 SE install question - conflict

I just reinstalled Win 98 SE on my sister's computer (it can't handle XP yet), and I am getting a conflict in the device manager that I can't figure out. It is in the Other Devices section, and all it says is "PCI Communication Device" with a yellow question mark next to it. Does anyone know what this is referring to? Could this be the modem?

Thanks for all advice.

Could this be the modem?

Yes it could. The simplest thing to do would be to pull it out and see what numbers are on it, so that you could do a search for the model and find the drivers for it.

if it isn't the modem just start checking devices in the device manager to see what is missing. it could be a NIC, or something else. Odds are it is the modem, but if it isn't just look through everything to see what isn't there.
