Win 98 Hard Drive Partitions

I have partitioned my hard drive into two. The second has my data files. The first partition has Win 98 and a few programs but it keeps filling up. Where are these files and how do I delete them??

Thanks.

The usual suspect: Microsoft Internet Explorer. Try to move your temporary internet files to the other drive.

There are a couple of things you can do.

1. Delete the files under your Windows\Temp directory.
2. Delete the files under the Windows\Temporary Internet Files directory.

Also, how large are your partitions?

Under Win98, I always try to keep at least 200MB Free.🙂

How big did you make your win98 and programs partition? i'd say 5 gigs (depending on how many apps you install) is the minimum. how big is the swap file? you could change the virtual memory settings if it gets too big.
