win 98 hangs?

um...on friday night..i noticed...my comp BOOT SO SLOW.
but then somehow saturday nite...it BOOTS UP REALLY SLOw, but on the login screen IT freezes...now sunday....IT WONT EVEN BOOT UP NOW!!!!...only when it is in safe mode when it "acts" fine...what is the problem?
 
More information is needed before conclusions can be made.

Still, try this:

Go to safe mode.

StartButton/Run/msconfig

go to startup.

untick those you don't want.
 
oh okay..umm..my friend "oced" my comp... from p3 800 to 833 or something..haha.. anyways.. i have pc 100 ram...320 tot ram...and...wut else u want to know?
