My friends has a 4 yr old pc, I'm not sure what it has, but its kinda old.
While loading Windows 98, a blue screen comes up while loading windows. It goes a lil something like this:

Windows found an error in your system files and restored a recent backup of the files to fix the problem.
Press Enter to restart.
You have restored a good registry.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve this issue?
Also, I do not have the win98 startup disk.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks!

I have come across this when Overclocking my rig. It is the registry checker and you can shut it off if you can get into safe mode and then run msconfig to get to the start up tab. here you should be agle to uncheck the registry checker to keep it from starting each time you boot.
