I can use some help installing this sound card on a system running Win 98 4.10.1998. I've tried the drivers on the CD, the Chaintech website, and the drivers on the Via Arena site. Whichever I install, I get a yellow exclamation mark on the card in device manager. The error was code 10, which reported the drivers were not installed properly. This card is said to support the OS build I'm using, so I'm disappointed with the card so far. Here's the rest of my specs.

Asus P3V4X, P3-700MHz Coppermine, 256MB PC133, 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 AGP, Generic Nic

Let me know if you need anymore info. I am using it currently on a system running Win XP SP2 and it works very well. I like it better than the soundstorm I was using before this. I'm listening to Tool - The Patient and the bass is better and the music seems more detailed. Ok, does anyone have any ideas to get this thing to work? Thanks for any help.

Haven't played with this card, but when dealing with drivers for cards and win98 I look for a readme file now. That can save a lot of headaches. Look for one if you haven't already.

Otherwise, might be able a driver for it over HERE. You'll have to register to get access to the database of drivers, but it's free.
